My Story
Hi I’m Lizzie, I trained as a Cosmetic Scientist and spent most of my career in product development for some of the UK’s best loved beauty brands.
Underneath the thrill and excitement of seeing a product come to life, I started to feel lost in the ‘skin deep’ conveyor belt of trends. An obsession with how we look, rather than how we feel. I was a stressed little human, full of anxiety and needed a change.
I retrained in aromatherapy and finally felt a sense of place and purpose. A passion was ignited!
Cushmona began with a simple yet deep desire to help people reconnect to mind and body, to feel listened to, to feel more at ease.
When the pandemic hit and with no physical touch allowed I started online consultations making bespoke blends for people to use at home.
As time passed I could see patterns emerging, a commonality in how we were feeling. Then came the realisation that the products were helping! This is how Cushmona came to be. A simple range of nurturing blends to help transform your mood as you take on the day.
Named after my grandparents home in Ireland, it was a real place of kindness, solace and support. My intention is to bring that same energy into these products and hopefully into your day.

All scents are created using 100% essential oil blends. We will always use organic or wild crafted oils where possible. All oils are selected for their unmatched vitality and aroma profile.
All our products are suitable for vegans.
Protective Violet Glass
We use violet biophotonic glass for its superior protection against UV light, prolonging the quality and vitality of the contents inside.
This glass is also reusable and recyclable.
Artisanal
All of our creations are lovingly crafted by us in Somerset in small batches to the highest quality standards.
